Experienced naturalist

Starri is a botanist by profession. He spent his childhood either at his mother‘s or grandparents farms and developed keen interest for the surrounding nature at young age. He has extensive knowledge on the geology and zoology of Iceland. His expertise is, however, the plants and in particular lichens of Iceland. Starri enjoys nature during field trips and his work at the Icelandic Institute of Natural History has brought him to many remote places around Iceland.
